Default plug n play coil

quick question about coils. I'm finishing up a turbo build that should be an easy 700 rwhp car and im wanting to replace my coils bc my old ones have 140k on them and id feel a little at ease knowing I don't have **** coils that could fail at any time on a boosted engine. I've read several threads on here about different coils, specifically the melco truck coils and also the msd coils. I've read about problems with msd coils(years ago) and was wondering if maybe the newer ones are better or are they just a waste of money? I'm asking about those specifically because I can get a brand new set about half price from a friend of mine. any input appreciated. Car is an 01ss if it matters. I'm. really just looking for something that will plug right up. if the msd ate a waste of money, does anyone reccomend something better?

D585 coils came stock on a LOT of trucks. They have far more spark output than the other stock coils. They usually only sell for $100 or so a set. The ones on my car have 200k miles or so on them and don't have any issues with high boost and lots of water injection.

The connector is the same for almost all of the stock coils.
