Default Coolant in Catch can

So tearing the car apart for some maintenance, I went to drain the catch can and after draining it into a water bottle I noticed that about 8th of the bottle was filled with coolant. It's turbo ls3 car but not making a ton of power or tons of boost. Coolant level on the radiator was a smidge low nothing major. Oil level was fine and milky. Car has the factory oil cooler tapped for the feed line. -10 line ran from each valve cover to the catch can.

mileage, boost psi and condition of motor ? oil and water seem to
be mixing , not too many ways this can happen. how does your oil cooler work, is it and external or does it use something like some power steering coolers where it's cooled
by the coolant ?

Sounds like you are lifting the heads. Are you still using head bolts or are you using studs?

When it separates out, it can look like milky water (maybe coolant looking colorish) but its the condensation from the crankcase more than likely
