Default S10 turbo builds

I would be interested in seeing some S10 builds-I have my eye on one that is in nice shape, bad engine
My hope was I could fit an 80E trans in, and a single turbo, or maybe a GM style supercharger-I know its prob tight to the front as far as acces. drives
and radiator
Thanks

Twin turbo setup in an 01 I just did. $800 total cost (not counting fuel).
Twin 5252s on a 4.8 with a T56 and a 9 inch. Should be running and on the dyno in about a month. Just want a fast peppy street truck.

Here is my 01 S10 xtreme. 390ci, twin 6266's under the cab, 4L80E, Ford 9", LS2 Vette accessory drive. Made 872HP 852 TQ on a dyno jet, and has been 9.53@145 on 93 octane. Check out Current Performance, they have a number of LS s10 swap parts.

Does the steering shaft have to move, I saw one where it hit the manifold

Steering shaft does not have to move if you have the proper manifolds. Stainless works has a set of 1 7/8 long tubes that clears the shaft and is sold by current performance. They are a little pricey if you are on a budget but are worth it; I did have to modify the plastic heat shield. Go over to S10forum and check out the LSx Discussion, there is a lot of good info and build threads to help you out. Before I built my truck I read thread after thread on LS1tech and S10forum and gathered all of the info and parts I needed then put my truck together with not a whole lot of issues. My build thread can be found over there also, same user name.

I used stock truck manifolds and had to notch the driver's side to clear the steering shaft. Wasn't too difficult.

what I keep going back and forth about is to use a log turbo manifold on passenger side or to use those forward facing headers and merge in front and run my 4 inch dp to the back of the blazer. I also seen one ran the dp right behind the passenger control arm and came under the frame so they could run it beside the trans like normal. but I think my truck is too low for that. I don't want to go through the fender bc Virginia like to hassle you about everything you do to your vehicles

Is your truck already LS swapped? If your low, and still yet to swap, make SURE you buy the Holley pan. It is a must for a lowered s10!

IMO, if your going to turbo, do a twin. It's easier than making the crossover crap fit. If I wasn't into mine this deep, I would have done it.

Sorry, did not mean meth injection meant primary fuel M1. Assuming your running e85, what ECT, IAT and whp are you targeting without IC?
