Need some help with boosted lq4

Default Need some help with boosted lq4

As the title says I'm looking for some help with my blow through LQ4. Once boost starts coming in and raving around 3-3.5k the engine breaks up and restricts me from reving any higher. 2001 LQ4 truck block, stock bottom end(new bearings and rings) stage 2 tick performance cam, csu blow through 750, Victor jr intake, Daytona sensors box, 76mm turbo(12psi) non I/c ran on e85. Plugs are BR7EF's gapped at .020 fuel pressure 5.5-6psi(with boost reference regulator) timing is just a base so far at 30deg in vacuum then dropping 1.5deg for every 1psi of boost. I'm totally new to the boosted lifestyle and any advise/come to are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and any other info needed just ask

Valve springs are brand new with cam and it's a 2 bar map. Part number 12615136. Did some searching on this forum and found this works out of a cobalt Ss I believe. Truck breaks up under boost only for sure. I can ease the throttle without boost and keep it going but once it starts building it just breaks up

So at 1 psi of boost your are at 28.5*? I don't think my stock timing table had that much in it anywhere at wot. I would pull out 10* for a start. How much boost are you making at 3/3.5k? What is the AFR? Does it break up as soon as it hits boost?

Yes thats correct on the timing. I'm totally new with the timing table and boost so I was only going off of what I read. And it breaks up as soon as it hits boost. Wide band goes 9.5(gas scale)

Your wide band is probably maxed and you are super rich. Was the carb setup for your combo?
