What diameter is your crank pulley? Engine RPM? What engine?

It seems like you're spinning the blower awfully hard just to make 17 lbs. I run a 5.25" blower pulley and make 18 lbs.

I didn't know Brent had another surgery, is he doing okay?

I got an Gen V LT1 that is going into the Vega, I just haven't had enough time to do much with it yet. Tony got back from Afghanistan and bought a wrecked Wrangler JK. We took the body off swapped frames, and installed an LS iron block in it. Less than six months after Tony was back he headed back to Afghanistan. Bob

Yeah, we need to know blower speed. Crank pulley diameter, engine RPM?

Blower speed = RPM X CRANK PULLEY DIA. / BLOWER PULLEY DIA X STEP UP RATIO

For yours: 6700 X 7.625 / 3.85 X 5.40 = 71,655 rpm.

You are spinning the blower way too fast. And you have a huge problem elsewhere. The F1R will make a ton of boost at max RPM. I'm spinning my F1R to 57,600 rpm and making 18 lbs.

Don't you have to factor in the tire size?

Man, that's too bad, I feel bad for Brent!

Tony's over there as a contractor, it's his third or fourth time as a contractor. Bob

Nope, tire size doesn't affect impeller rpm Steve. Bob

If you share more information about your setup, we can help you figure it out.

I would not run the car any more until you figure it out or you will start breaking stuff.

1st thing - put your 4.00" pulley back on (or a 4.13 or 4.25 if you have one). With the blower at max rpm, it should make around 30 psi, depending on what heads, cam, intake etc.

What intercooler do you have? Pictures of it?
What do you have for an inlet?
Exhaust?

intercooler is 31 X 12 X 4 and is new.The heads are TEA Stage 1 The intake is a LS2 with a 92 MM throttle body. There was no room for a filter on blower.Lingenfelter blower cam.The header were made for the application.

Unable to locate paperwork on the intercooler but it was from E-Bay and I think it was around $200. Can take pictures later today.

This picture of Steve's car was most likely after we had installed the D-1SC at the old EPP shop. Bob

When I went to the F!-R from the D1 I had to switch out the crank pulley to a 7.625 to be able to run the 12 rib belt.
