Me either it doesn't look anything like the China made or the Holley sniper

This thing again, seriously?
It doesn't resemble any of these intakes at all....

I could literally share links to 30 companies claiming it as their own (the Holley Sniper DOES use a different plenum).

If you want, you could get them straight from China for $160 (or less).

There are even dyno sheets out there where the LOST power/torque across the board on a stock 4.8/5.3/6.0.

yep, they look cool but most stock intake manifolds make more power across the board.

As far as I know, there are 2 or 3 main importers that each import a few thousand units at a time so they get them for like $110/each, and then sell them to all of these companies in smaller quantities so that they don't have to make the 100 unit minimum order.

I'd hardly call them crooks.

It's a legit business, it's a product, if there is a market for them and people are happy to buy them....that's just business.

There's plenty of other intakes out there, nobody is forcing anyone to buy these, or any other chinese parts.

Often whether they help performance or not is less relevant to how they intake looks, just look at the number of people using a HiRam that will never see 1k+ or 7k+ where that intake would actually start to offer some benefits.

So clearly they arent buying those for performance either.

TBH some of the cheap sheet metal intakes do look nice, and as with chinese turbos etc over time quality does improve so they're probably not a bad purchase by this stage if they meet your needs.

And I bet injectors fit in their fuel rails
