Default Any early (62-67) Nova's turbo LS cars out there?

I'm in the planning stages of a turbo LS swap into my 62 Nova, and I didn't have any luck searching this section looking for cars like mine with the stock front clip. I've been an occasional observer on here, might have responded on a few posts here or there, but now I'm stepping into the ring... I'm aware that swapping to an aftermarket clip will give me more room & and better handling, I just don't have the money to swap clips right now... I've been thinking of following the Denmah "Sloppy Mechanic's" recipe with a GT45 package from VSracing on a pull out 5.3 with 80 lb injectors, PAC 1218 valve springs, Z06 cam & head gaskets & studs on a 411 computer & stock harness. I want to see what exhaust manifolds to use and how the crossover is ran, where/what intercooler is used... Links to any cars featured on here would be appreciated

There are a few cars in the conversion section. Truck manifolds are some of the tightest fitting. I think no matter what you use you'll have to trim the shock towers but its not as big of a deal as it seems. You can run the crossover in front of the balancer.

good luck sir! I have a '64 SS I'm putting together now and its TIGHT.

I would highly suggest a subframe and skinny front tires.

Default 67

I have a 67 not ready for motor just yet. But built full tube chassis, air ride suspension, and tubbed 9" with 28" wide rear tires. Need to post up some pics. This is my first chassis build
