Besides, what someone else would do shouldn't matter one bit to you, since its mostly a preference thing.

It happens... a lot.

At this current time, the very next thread down from this one was someone asking about the fastest stock bottom end manual car. Has turned into a massive auto vs manual pissing contest.

Joe's right, they both do the same thing. One can be bolted on in a weekend while the other requires a little more work.
Both are awesome and both make wicked amounts of power when setup properly.
I have friends who run both kinds and they each think one is better than the other for a myriad of reasons.
A big question is what are your capabilities as a mechanic? Are you doing the work yourself? If your a pro and doing the work then a turbo would be no problem. If your semi-handy with a wrench then maybe the simplicity of bolt supercharger is more your cup of tea. That's what it really boils down to.
