Default Turbo S10 build

This was my first truck I owned in high school, it's what got me into modifying cars. I sold it years ago and as luck would have it after some searching I found it a few states away in WI, I live in MO.
Made arrangements to pick it up and now it's time to start the complete rebuild. When i get done no bolt will be left unturned lol.

Basic run down.
2000 s10
Lq4
4l80e
8.8" rear
Triple disc
Pt88
A/w intercooler
Retain AC, probably remove abs and do a line lock while I'm in there.
Ctsv 4 piston brembos up front
Using cpw radiator, Poly mounts, AC kit

Picking up and getting her home.

I'm curious as to why A/W instead of A/A intercooling on a vehicle that is clearly planned for some street driving. Is it to be mostly a track truck?

Been there tried that, not a fan on these trucks. I want as much air flow through the rad as I can get and I don't want to stick a huge a/a in front of everything.
A/w will do just fine on the street with a goof pump and a controller, it will be iced down if I'm going out anyway.

Asked and answered. It seems as though you have thought things through pretty well. Good luck on the build. I know you are joking about which way to face the turbo, but I always go with whatever keeps the hotside safe. You can do almost anything with the cold side and still not cook wires or plumbing.

ive been doing lots of planning on this one. Only want to be do it once lol. I'm still not 100% about wich way the turbo will face tho. My biggest concern is fitting a 4" down pipe out somewhere.

Here is where most of the driveline came from. Last car I built then parted out.... Almost wish I still had it. Ran 10.03 @134 first track outing on about 10psi

That picture almost perfectly shows the crappy hot air intake setup that my new build is going to end up with in order to put my downpipe where it won't cook anything. Good thing I have room for a large(ish) intercooler.
