oh hey just read about your busted posi. my vote is 9"
they're so damn common it's actually not too expensive to build a nice one.
I used a stock truck housing and carrier with a nice locker and axles and have ~800 into it.
add an upmarket huosing and carrier is another grand and you're set for pretty much anything.

Anyone who is constantly worried about the possibility of scavenge pump failure would be better off with higher mounted turbos and gravity drain. For peace of mind you really can't beat the overall reliability of gravity.

Odd question ?

If the turbos are high enough to gravity drain, no pump is needed.

Im a firm believer in "**** never works as planned" so id probably try to do both with a really low power scavenge pump if thats even possible.

I carry a cheapy spare fuel pump, and I would definitely keep a spare scavenge pump cheapy on hand if you want to be able to drive the car, seems pretty common sense. Wrap it in something fireproof and soft so it doesn't vibrate around and stuff it in the corner of the trunk and forget about it. Or get a large enough toolbox to store it with the other pumps/spares parts, that you can take out everything in one package quickly when you go to race the car.

I don't have room to mount it up high, as I don't want to hack up the car....exhaust also runs out the back, and I still have ac.
