Do you mind if I ask about the rotating assembly details?

No Mercy is definitely a one of a kind event. Had a bunch of fun. What does this car look like? I may have seen it make a pass there. Did you run it in Ultimate?

We were there with the Impala in RVW. Had an injector issue that kept us from a good full pass though. Made the show with 4 aborted runs 4.08-4.11-4.15-4.30.

The SBE car was at a different track. SBE with just the gaps opened up a bit no aftermarket fasteners in the bottom.

I saw the Impala. Very cool. Nice to see something unique out there. I was hanging out in the Pro Fab camp when not roaming around.

Damn that's awesome! Saw you guys on the way down with the Impala on I-75 and was at the track all weekend with our X275 car pitted with Marty Stinnett, Car looked good even on the aborted passes! Hell thanks for posting this, gives me hope with my build! I was sort of leery of an L33. How many hits you think that bottom end will last on that power? Or is it a pretty safe tune?

The L33 block holds the record for quickest e.t. with a stock block at 4.63. At 5.20s with a weight of 2950 and a proper tune up I bet the block lasts a while.

Thanks we are looking forward to Feb when we can run the thing out the back door with some power. 1.03-2.699 a couple hits in a row has us excited to say the least.

He has about 35-40 passes on this SBE and countless street passes. I think its just fine at this power level/rpm. I think the high RPM power is helping the rods and head gaskets right now. He wants to go 7.99 now! I told him he is crazy lol.

Hell yeah! we went looking for our 1.0X 60' as our back splits are phenomenal but caught an issue with the motor and didn't qualify as we saved it all for round 3.... Oh well... that's drag racing. Hope to see you in Feb. then!

And 7s doesn't make him crazy it makes him a racer!

8100 rpm is nuts! Factory rockers and lifters? What Intercooler is he using? Timing levels?

I don't really see how back pressure isn't absurd at that rpm.
