Making the switch.... Turbonetics to On3
I got the motor used, from a friend. I know it doesn't have alot of miles. But it is what it is, ran great for a while. It should have been good to go for a long time though.
I have large lines from both valve covers to my catch can too. Is that what you are asking?
Also it seems to burn crazy oil at hot idle. Going down the road seems fine??? I'm thinking it's a ring issue. But I will leak down test it Wednesday night.

yea thats what im asking, a lot of guys run an open vent setup and its fine for short term but i dont think its sufficient for long term daily use.
A proper setup will have two catch can SEALED no filter venting.
from valve covers to catchcan to one way valve to a port After the TB.
another lines from valve covers to catch can to the FRONT of the turbo pipe.
what this does is remove positive pressure that leaks though and is removed via vacuum at non boost(like how its setup from factory)
BUT
under boost the intake will be pressurized so youll use the turbo like a vacuum.
Ive had issues with filter venting in the past on my DD that caused blow by.
Basically the vented(two of them) got restricted flow, it got clog from oil "evaporation" and dirt from outside sticking to it.
When I say evaporation I mean those "wetness/condensation due to oil"
Thanks Rick
