When you build the cold side and you are cutting the pipes to fit. When connecting them with silicone couplers, are you guys welding a ridge around the pipe so the coupler doesn't slip out or the clamps are good enough to hold it in place
Yeah I welded ridges, but you can roll a bead on them. There's some good diy ways to do it
and cut the front cutting portion off them all the way back up to the large tooth crimping section. Then use that large tooth crimping section to crimp a bead in thin cold side aluminum piping.
