Default Which injector for Microsquirt E85 1520psi boost LS?

I originally picked up a set of 80#'s to go in my boosted LQ9 but now E85 is more readily avaiable and Im wanting to know whats my next best for 800rwhp. I saw some people having issues with 160's getting hot and not working and wasnt sure if I could run those with a microsquirt anyways. I dont have the cash to buy ID2000's now. It will have a S480 for boost and I'd like to run w/o an intercooler if possible with E85 and meth injection.

the 80# ers will get you quite a ways. the Camaro we built runs 80 dekas and was right at 100%d.c at 20 psi boost and 55 psi fuel pressure. ran 9.40s that way. my brother runs 80 deka's and has been 19.5 psi in his Silverado .6.0 with a 218 cam and s476r. at 118% d.c. . and im sure if we raise the fuel pressure they will support more.

yes on e85. my brothers is stock fuel rails and regulator with factory boost/vac reference.and dual fuel pumps 450 and a aem 380. not sure how much power but the truck has ran 10.30s at 137 mph at 4400 lbs with driver and a 1.7 60' time

the Camaro has a aeromotive reg and eliminator -4 black pump

my nova is the same with stock return style fuel lines and regulator with a single aem 380 pump on e85 it has worked up to 14 psi and 9.90s but I'm out of pump at that point and going to a dual pump over the winter.

I've been 17 psi on deka 80s on my 5.3 and I'm at about 87% duty cycle. Base pressure of 58 and boost referenced. I've got two AEM 380 pumps with a 10an feed and 8an return. It's making some decent power using 650 lb/hr of fuel. So far so good. I'll likely be going to 120s over the winter to drop the base pressure back down.

Don't these injectors have issues once they get warm they become unpredictable? Matt Happel tried them and said they would be good for a track only car.

Micro squirt can’t run low-z injectors without an injector driver. So large HI-Z injectors are going to be expensive. Without an IC you’ll need to run a richer AFR as well. Cheapest route in my opinion is to “over fuel pump” the setup and run high base pressures. Fuel pumps are cheap by comparison, and 3 AEM 380 pumps will support 800whp with 80’s on E85 (2 with meth injection might do it) Just need about 70psi of base pressure. (½” or larger fuel lines would be best) Make sure they have 13.4v+ and good wiring.

They are on eBay you can get them for about $500 shipped. All my research showed they had problems with them once they got hot. But lmt says his are fine.

I don’t consider the 160lb Bosch plastic pintle CNG injectors a viable option for anything that sees street duty. You can get the 220lb Bosch HI-Z injectors for about $500. They have the SS guts and will work with E85. But you can’t get the PW low enough to run pump gas with them. Tuned a set on an MS3 and they worked fine. I’d guess I micro could handle them.

anybody have knowledge about these 96 lb hr injectors.

I would think they could get to 800 rwhp on e 85 depending on torque converter
