Sounds good... I think the 445 hp and 910 tq will be pretty good stock for towing right now...

Be careful with emissions crap. We run Chevy in my delivery fleet and several have cost me $10k repair bills to emissions and fuel system last year. We don't have a diesel 15 but ours can't force a regen. They only regen while traveling at least 45mph for 45mins and it MUST regen frequently.

Engine warranty does not cover damage to emissions systems.
Emissions warranty does not cover damage to engine.
They both cause each other problems so warranty won't effectively cover anything.

There are several companies working hard on EFI Live tunes for the L5P. Give it some time and the market is going to be flooded with modifications for the newest edition to the Duramax family.

Oh missed that part.

Does it have DEF injection, cats, and extra fuel nozzle in the exhaust? The parts that we've had most trouble with are pumps falling apart sending metal upstream and problems with the emissions parts getting clogged up.
