Came with all the silicone couplers and clamps but I upgraded my clamps for real clampco SS clamps. Just cut the pipe where you need to and you dont really need a bead roll on it unless your pushing 15+psi. BUt you can do quick bead rolls with a terminal crimper for less than $5. Or weld or use the couplers with good clamps and you should be ok. Ive pressure tested mine to 15+psi and never blew a coupler and most of mine dont have beads on the ends. Tubing kits are usually $100 or less.

On my other forums guys have seen inaccurate IAT readings due to SS and mild steel pipe if the sensor is located in the piping. Heat soak becomes an issue when pipes are closer to the radiator heat etc. But I will say that even aluminum pipe gets pretty warm... couldnt imagine SS or mild steel yikes!

Your prob fine but you could have aluminum made using the SS huron as a template and fix the entry out of the supercharger to make a better transition.
Alright you talked me into it. CX racing intercooler kit ordered! Will try it out.

Good luck with it.

Haven't been able to work on the car a lot lately, but getting some work done on it now. Decided to switch this thing to to flex fuel which will be interesting. Also obviously decided to run e85 obviously so I sold the ID 1000cc injectors and ended up just buying a set of FID 1100CC injectors, wanted to go bigger but the cost is crazy so I'll just increase the base pressure to 58 psi and see where that takes me.

Ill get some new pictures added this weekend. Made some more progress last night, Finished the trick performance battery relocation install - hooked up the cables to the starters, fuse panel post, and alternator. This took some time since I'm running 2" headers, there isn't a lot of room over by the starter! Ill be finishing up the fuel lines, mounting the fuel pressure regulator, and flex fuel sensor.

I'm running the FIC 160lb injectors. They run great and are definitely affordable.

What's wrong with the Huron Speed piping? Lots of guys use it on their turbo setups?

Just relocate your IAT to the manifold. No heatsoak issues...

And the TurnOne Pulley would be awesome there.

nothing wrong with it! Yes turn one would be nice. I'm not gonna mess with it right now, but definitely will soon probably.

Nothing wrong with SS tubing... it's stronger than aluminum so it won't deform with tbolt clamps and high boost but its major draw back is that the tubing gets hot and stays hot compared to aluminum... and it's heavier. But other than that it's not a problem. Relocating the IAT will fix the IAT temp rise due to it being in the hotter SS tubing but it still doesn't fix the SS tubing ability to literally transfer heat to the inside air. Where aluminum is more likely to run cooler than the inside air and thus help transfer it out. It's why they make aluminum intercooler piping lol and the reason they make aluminum intercoolers and not SS or mild steel intercoolers.

Superchargers are a pain bc they are constantly building heat.

And that's why Procharger recommends placing the BOV/Bypass closest to the supercharger to vent hot air out.

I bought Josh's SS piping. I may relocate the BOV flange to the other side if hot air is a big issue.

I have IAT issues with my current setup and looking for ways to get to ambient. I think installing in the front of the FAST will be the best way to avoid heatsoaking the sensor. But you're right, the SS piping may still see heat.

Would it be worthwhile to put a ceramic coating on the intercooler piping? Vs just powder coating?

I also know, that at 100°F 1lbs of boost is good for approx 10° of heat...

Planning to ship your kit sunday, I need to get it packaged up nicely and make sure all the clamps and couplers are there. Pretty big box!

Got the transmission cooler mounted behind the intercooler.
Barely any clearance here. I may buy a lower profile fitting.

Installed trans temp sensor!

Mock up of kooks true duals.left pipe wil need some adjusting for sure. Wil be adding the magnaflow ovals in place of kooks also

Working on moving bottom of the radiator further forward yet to fit a 4" 90 on the procharger for a big filter!
