1500HP, did you make that handle just to heckle Dennis? It would be appropriate, and funny, but with 113 posts I'm guessing not.
I'm a little butt hurt, I like my truck manifolds, they usually outlast headers, and I spent a lot of effort cleaning them up, and having them ceramic coated.
Notice how I even rounded the top corners off the mounting bosses for the heat shields, so sharp corners didn't dig into my hands when I reach down to change a plug.
It's a bit silly to start name calling one way or another.
I'm sure everyone would like some nice fancy tubular manifolds if they could....but absolutely they are not for everyone. And for 99% of people here, almost any type of manifold used will not be a limiting factor. So it really is a moot point.
Do cast manifolds look bland ? Of course they do. But they are cheap, they perform, they're reliable and they're ******* easy to change plugs. IMO there is so much win there.
And certainly in my own case, there isnt a hope in hell anything tubular would fit anyway. But if I could have had custom tubes made...of course I would.
At the end of the day as long as the exhaust gases get from the cylinder to the turbo...the kit will work.

My post was an attempt at subtle humor contrasting how simple, and humble, my turbo setup is, vs what is in the previous pictures.

We have the group that is after "bling" and the other end we have the "billet free" crowd. I guess I'm confused in my ways because I have both truck manifolds, and a turbonetics turbo, since they always polish the housing. I can appreciate both the megabuck,custom fab everything, to the $500 Ebay builds, as long as the work is done correctly and with some care.
