Custom built turbos can anybody point me in the right direction here? Someone who builds custom turbos specd out for a specific engine combo? I've heard of some amazing things from smaller framed singles. The name Jose has been brought up a few times. Just wondering what kind of power can be made out of a standard t4 frame turbo like I'm running now. I'm not loyal to any specific brand and I'm honestly at my wits ends with the turbonetics 7868 I'm running . I've gone through everything possible minus a feed line restrictor and I'm still getting smoke on decel and idle .. I'm just wondering if 1000 rwhp is possible with a standard frame t4

Yeah but I believe you're referring to a big frame t4 like the borg warners . If not that'd be perfect , just have to make a larger downpipe for my setup and let her eat with a single . I know it's asking for a bit much but I want a turbo with spool characteristics of mine right now, but 75% more power if possible.

After seeing some stuff they shipped out the door that's pretty much the last place I would order a nice engine from. But they have handled some warranty work without issue so that's a plus.
Does the OP have any goals yet? I went mid 9's in a 4k lb car with about the cheapest T4 turbo you can get. What's he looking to do?

Actually occasionally, only a few times a year he wants to make 1500 rwhp, he has a build thread going now. That's why I recommended the Stage 3 LSX. Always nice to have a bottom of the page build.

If he wants an honest 1500whp then I wouldn't be looking at T4's unless he's doing a twin setup. If he wants an interwebz 1500 then he's good to go!
