Question Has anyone ever done a LSA blower in a f body

I've seen the article that GMPP did a LS9 swap in a f body but our customer wants his 6.2L with a LSA blower and CTSV lid in his Camaro. I've measured multiple times and........well........it's gonna be a lot of modifications needed to the car, k member, motor mounts etc... and I'm still not sure it can be done. So if anyone has done it, advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think the only reason they did the ls9 was because the lid was shorter than an lsa. I think I remember reading the article they trimmed the cowl, lowered the motor and had to re set the pinion angel on the trans to compensate for everything. I want to say the LSA is taller (don't quote me on that) so lowering the motor even more would be necessary

Yeah, I think it's pushing the limits of everything trying to shoehorn this motor into a F body according to my measurements. I can only go so low on the motor mounts and there is only so much room to cut the cowl. Lowering everything down starts interfering with header clearances, pinion angle, etc....

I just picked up an L92 and now can get my hands on a ZL1 blower immediately... so now I'm trying to figure out feasibility of this in my 93 t/A. I read the same LS9/Camaro article done up by GM, but looking for the same answers as the OP.

Pic was with G8 accessories. Video is with ctsv-1 alt and 5th gen PS using V1 bracket. I liked how those look over the G8 design. Will be switching to a CNC blower soon, 102 TB and possibly spray bars.

Not sure who the question was directed to. But as for myself, single walbro 450 with hot wire kit. Set of ID850s with aquamist meth for the street use. Race fuel for the track.

Current setup with stalled 4L80 I'll be happy with 650-700rwhp. With ported blower, 102 and 5" CAI maybe 700+. Then comes the spray with a stand alone fuel cell

Wow, I'm suprised you guys got them to fit. I have an LSA blower laying in my shop for another project and wanted to see if it would fit in my camaro. laying the lower blower on the engine looked like I'd almost have to cut the entire cowl out for the lid.
