Default Need help! Building up a FI motor

I may be needing to replace my stock 99ls1 and am wondering if I want to build the motor up what will I need and what prices am i looking at. I want to do a new set of heads(nothing crazy), a new cam, and the forged internals of course. When building a FI motor what parts do I need to look for? Im trying to stay around the same 346 size that I currently have. I know very little on this subject and would like to know more. I want to be able to run 15-20lbs of boost on race gas and want to be safe about it.

Thanks

A T76 will make good power on anything that it isn't surging on, and anything that isn't too large in CID that it is choking off the exhaust side. A 348" motor is a good size for a T76, you would have no trouble making 800+ RWHP provided all your other parts are up to spec.

Figure a good $3K for a forged 346 CI motor. With the forged bottom end you can strap on either a turbo or a blower and make monster power all day long.

Now for Making monster power like that, would it require the use of a massive heads/cam combo? Or could I do something like stock 6.0 liter heads and a nice turbo grind cam??
