Run the cam that's in there now, at least give it a shot. You made pretty good power with it N/A and I'd think it would work pretty well for what your goals are being that it's fairly mild. Save the money you would spend on another cam, and put it towards the turbo. The vs 78/75 is hard to beat for a budget minded build that will make plenty of power on the street.

Doing some research on it now. Any other suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks for the input.

If you don't have any problems with China turbos, the 7875 is great for a single. Its physically smaller than a GT45, with roughly the same size exhaust wheel and a 10mm larger compressor inducer. Its also less 'dated' than the GT45.

Its wheels and turbine housing size makes it a pretty versatile turbo since it will work well with almost any 4.8 and 5.3 and most smaller cam 6.0s with cathedral heads. You could easily make ~650whp on the 6.0 and another 50-75 on a 4.8 or 5.3. The billet version is about $100 more and should both spool faster and make a little more power.

Definitely leaning towards the 7875 now. I'm on the fence about the extra $100 because I don't wanna be as heartbroken when it gives out.

Been trying to figure out If I should just chop up my headers and use them to make a log on passenger side(bottom two pics) flipping it forward. And cut the driver side and weld a v band on. would there be any advantage or disadvantage vs getting a set of manifolds and doing the same thing?

Just like rworcester said contact viren at VS Racing and he'll probably recommend the 78/75 turbo. I think it's only $200 more than the GT45 but much more installation friendly. I'm also doing a 5.3 turbo build and that's what I'll be using.
