Default Turbo ls1 problem

Hi Guys

I’m having a problem with my ls1 turbo the bov, fpr and boost gauge is plumbed in the port on tb the blue hose in the photo. The idle is all over the place to the point it will stall. If I unplug the bov,fpr and boost gauge and leave the port open the idle is perfect. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Ashley

Sounds like it's SUPER rich for some reason. IAC problem, throttle closed too much, hanging injector(s), ruptured regulator diaphragm. Introducing so much air through the small port when you take the hose off is just helping lean it out. Could be wrong, but that's where I'd start.

Im not sure what the IAC counts are. I don't have access to the software at the moment. I hoping to get it into the tuners in the next couple of weeks

Are you sure the difference isn't something to do with your fuel pressure? Hook just the FPR up to that port and see if it still runs the same.

If your IAC isnt working it can be stucked closed which makes it rich. Could be just as simple as that.

Thats not a vacuum source i dont believe. Is that not where the stock pcv fresh air hose goes? Which shouldnt have much vacuum because it comes from in front of the throttle body? Am i crazy? Lol

May not be your issue, but imo thats not a vacuum source

The top right of the picture is the PCV port on the Throttle body. He is using a port down lower and in the intake.

I think both ports are to do with the pcv valve , I have a catch can setup, I think half of my problem was a broken spark plug lead

Ok. I thought he has it tied in to the port on the TB. He also said theyre all tied to the port on the side of the TB

My intake doesnt have a port down there

If that is indeed a vacuum source then ok. If you are introducing more air into the engine (ie vacuum leak) and it starts running better it is definaltely rich. Disconnect the brske booster hose if you have 1 and see if it does the same thing
