Default S10 Build

Figured I would start a build thread. I have had this truck since 2008. At that time it had a 355 AFR headed SBC. I sold the motor a few years ago, and just kind of stored the truck while the Army moved me around. Well I finally have the time to get back after it. I narrowed an explorer 8.8 with 3.73 LSD and bought a stock 4.8 and a few other things to get me going. I am currently working on a Log Manifold which I hope to have finished this weekend. I also ordered a T45 China special that will be going on it. The 4.8 has china head studs and a spring upgrade.

Does anyone have a 98 Camaro drivers side manifold that they can part with?

I have that same diff cover. Make sure you put some kind of sealer on all the plugs and studs, mine leaked all over the place when I first put it on.

I would think you will destroy that rear with this build. What all did you use to build your log? Looks pretty tight to the block in the pics. I like it!

Rearend should be good, its a narrowed 31 spline 8.8. I just used a flipped truck manifold and some 3 inch pipe to make the log. The turn down in the rear is cast black pipe. It measure about 2.25 inside diameter, so it should work well with my 2.25 crossover.

Sorry for not updating my build. It has been a busy summer. I did manage to paint the truck. Paint looks good, body work is not the best. My friend and I had never painted before. Now I need to put the engine back in and get the turbo system done.
