Man today was a long day but I am done for the day.
-Replacement vband came and everything fits
-Trans cooler and 100% done now
-Engine is in and engine harness is 90% done

I have lots of odds and ends to do tomorrow but I think that if everything goes relatively smoothly I will be able to fire it up tomorrow night. Then I have of other things to wrap up Monday to try and see if I can drive it.

Three straight long days in this Texas heat in the garage is starting to wear me out. I ran into a few snags and didn't get to start the car today. I have to order a few parts and will have it running one night next week. I did get the big stuff done and quite a few details but still have more little stuff to knock out. Sorry about the lighting. I will get a better pic later

how is that turbo oil return flange setup? looks like it works as a turbo brace and oil return flange.

I like it, stout and functional. That was part of the Huron Speed V3 T6 turbo kit.

I ran into a few issues that caused more delays. When I layer out the harness on the engine I forgot that on my FAST 102 I put the MAP sensor on the front of the manifold and since I am using an aftermarket 3 bar MAP the cam position pigtail fit on the map and another on the CPS. I obviously realized all this once everything was pretty much buttoned up and had to take the intake manifold off to fix it. I have already corrected this and it is back together. I also pressurized the fuel system and only had two leaks but was due to them not being tightened down. I also wired up the Racetronix dual fuel pump he same way that my old Racetronix Hotwire kit was but the pump was not triggering on with the 12v ign so I traced that down to the relay remote turn on and temporarily wired that into another ign hot wire. The car has fluids in it and just need to make one trans cooler line, hook up one brake line, put on a vband from the compressor to cold side pipe, and finish a few air lines. I should have all that done tonight and I have a buddy coming over tomorrow night for an extra set of hands for the first start up.

Got everything wrapped up last night and will be firing it up tonight. Then I just need to bleed the brakes, check all fluid levels, put gear oil in the rear end, final bolt check and I can drive it. It is my daughter's first birthday Saturday so I will be doing all that Sunday.

I fired it up and something was wrong and not firing on all cylinders. I checked spark and tested injectors and everything tested fine but the exhaust was telling a different story. I tested the compression just to be safe and everything was fine so I changed all the plugs in the process from 8s to 7s. I also cleaned up all the grounds and put a new crank position sensor in. After all of that it sounded much better. I would guess that it was the grounds but who knows. I then took it to street tuned but hadn't noticed how bad the toe was on the front tires since it was always crammed in my garage so we could only do limited tuning. I then took it to a local shop to have a 4" downpipe made that went through the MWC k-member and it turned out awesome. I also had some little pipes made for the wastegates to direct the exhaust away from the lower core support. The downpipe has a v-band right after the firewall so that I can remove the exhaust system to save weight but still have exhaust past the firewall in streetcar classes. When the exhaust system is on I have a 4" cutout right after the firewall to help it breathe better and it is pretty quiet with the cutout closed so that I can sneak around. I am going to have the alignment done tomorrow and then dyno tuning on 9/5.

Finally able to post pics. I am going to try am clean up a few things this weekend and then put as many miles as possible before the dyno tune. The BOV springs that came with it were either too light or too tight so I have new ones being delivered today.

Dyno tune is scheduled for this Tuesday and can't wait to see what it puts down. I repainted the front grill since I wasn't happy with how it came out the first time and I am pretty happy this time around. I also washed the car for the first time in 11 months and forgot how good it looked.

I tightened up the gaps on my plugs to be safe tomorrow on the dyno, changed the oil, and slapped on my ET Pros so that I don't screw up my new street drag radials. I need new ET Pros anyways. I also realized that I hadn't turned on the CO2 yet to test for leaks and took a spin and all that I can say is holy $h1t!!!! It spools so fast and hit 9lbs in no time with about 30% throttle input. I need to work on the bumper gaps since the bumper support is gone now.

It is such a relief to wrap up yesterday and have the car survive. We had a few minor issues like a wobble in one of the wheels, an air leak in one of my tires, and running out of injector duty cycle but we were still able to get respectable numbers at 978rwhp and 1104ft lbs of torque at 21psi. Surprisingly it only picked up 25hp with the cutout open. There is still a fair bit left in it once I upgrade the injectors this winter along with the switch to Holley. I will post a video once I upload to YouTube.
