Default

Super easy to data log the exhaust pressure VS manifold and overlay them with 1 $16 0-100 pressure sensor VS map. Watching a gauge IMO is pretty outdated and difficult in a drag car.

Most mild single setups like the OP's are going to have much higher drive pressure than manifold anyway. Even my stockish 4.8 (292") is around 1.4:1+ @ 20lbs. 370" was around 2:1. Using the big 1.32 T6 housing S480. You need the big boy Garrett 111mm exh wheels to see 1:1 with these engines and a single.

Default Delta-P = Performance

Hi Dave, I doubt you will ever find your "hot" side going into Choke.

You could find, I find, that when the MAP is greater than the EMAP, the engine will have GREAT performance.
This IS the target, a common range of 1000 RPM.

As for miss-fire, how do YOU log your report ?

My method is to measure Crankshaft Acceleration with the 60-2 (59 tooth) TW.

I FIND that BAD combustion SLOWS DOWN the crankshaft, an EASY measurement.
