If him being in uk makes it harder for na it for sure makes it harder for boost and all the little things needed to make that work. Tt definitely has more components.......which is why i told him to stay na for 550. 700 should really be his starting point not end point for tt.
Which is why i have asked several times what his acceleration goal is. If his goal is 10s don't waste your time/$ on boost for a 2500ish lb car with a ls. That was really why i said anything at all to begin with.
Heads, cams, intake manifolds, valve train components, balancers, and all of the other components that go into an N/A setup typically come from the U.S., so on top of our pricing, they have to pay shipping, tax, customs, etc.
It's foolish to say a 130 car isn't fast. Especially one that drove to and fro the track to do it. ......with a bolt on motor.

Are you using stock LS1 heads on yours?

My cobra replica kit would need other mods past 600 anyway...XJS diff rating??? I do know others with same kit have done up to 600..
My t56 and diamond st 2 clutch up to 600.chassis past that???
Honestly think that would be enough with a boost controller of some kind(but that would be future)
AND we have emissions in UK quite strict....did i mention that?? Drop the bombshell.....

I aint looking to break records here, just have fun and learn off you lot whikst building it.
This forum has been great for me learning and yes i read Darths thread several times (great guy)and almost settled for lNA....and may still do if i cant fit the turbo in, but it will be with my 224r cam.

Edit.....i think 500whp could maybe be done with a stock ls6 cam. I was 49 away still on pump. Port the heads, bump compression, 1.9 rockers and put it on a fuel.......definitely get close on a stock cam.
Never ran it with the new stuff cause i bent 3 valves testing. I think we've been over this.....several times. Are you stupid? Do you think there is a point in constant repetition other than you looking stupid?
