people here love to hate on me because I'm smurf. They blindly post whatever nonsense followed by my name, in the hopes that new comers will be swayed by the power of the forum's posting (as if a little box of text from one person is any better or more correct than any other) and their own ignorance. To this I say, use your head, dear reader, and you decide whats really going on.
SHUT UP! SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!!!! You are the single most annoying, un-knowledgeable *** hat on this entire site. You spew nonsense and ignorance and should not even exist! Smurf? SHUT UP!!!!

See what I mean. And I can't complain because... I created it.

Trolling or being trolled, using that word: troll, is funny right? because on one hand, we are all individuals with our own perspectives, and somebody out there is going to be annoyed by something, no matter who posts it. So in a way, we are all trolls.

On the other hand, what is the goal of the troll? To exist in a perpetual fashion, able to evoke the emotions of others? Without any consequences (in theory this would be nice- but there are always consequences even for just doing nothing.)

It is possible to be both contributing member and legendary troll, I suppose (we can all be both)

5.3 ftw

You're not a troll, you're a fng idiot. Big difference. Shouldn't you be fapping to cartoon horses right now? Isn't there a forum for that?

Sounds to me like you are mad.

There are 4 or 5 people on this forum that have issues with what I post.
There are always 4 or 5 people on every forum like that. It always happens.

5 out of 100,000 isn't much. Carry on, say what you want, Just remember: If you get mad, you lose.

Thats cause you can't resist the bait to respond to everyone's criticism.

pretty sure my trademark is to leave threads once I say the end of what I said. Would you like some examples? I rarely continue disputes if they are going nowhere. Otherwise it is of some technical or entertainment value, in order to continue.

For example, entertainment value: I was lurking ls1tech originally, never intended to make more than 200 posts total. In one of my reading I helped a user, this was couple years ago now, and the admin suggested I post and help more often. I don't mind, so I do that since then, thus why I am allowed to continue forever.

The bold part. Go back to doing that. There isn't a single person here that likes seeing your name as the most recent reply.

Admin suggested you post more often? Right.

And thats 3/500000 confirmed mad members

How far will 26 or 28lb/hr injectors go? If I have 60psi of fuel pressure: X. If I have 75psi of fuel pressure: Y.

Y > X in terms of the injectors

X > Y in terms of the total fuel flow capacity from the pump

I loved my little Gen 3 4.8 so much, I hunted and hunted for a deal on a Gen 4 4.8. These little motors are so inexpensive, and solid under boost with proper tuning, I'm not sure why so many people are dead set on paying a premium for a 5.3 (depending on availability/location) when the 4.8 has so much more usable power band in stock form with a cam, that it really makes it great for boost.

Would you really consider $400-$500 for a complete 5.3 a premium?

See, that's not the case here in California. Junkyards might have them for $650 plus a $350+ core charge for a 100k+ mile LM7. L33s are $1250 + core. I just picked up a 200k mile 06 4.8 complete with lifter noise for $200. Last 4.8 complete I got was sold as a 5.3, and found out later it was a Gen 3 4.8, for $500.

My buddy gets 5.3 and 6.0 engines delivered to his door for 300 bucks. They tend to have a small issue fixed fairly cheap. But he rebuilds them and sells them for 1500 lol. Easy money. I live in socal btw. Got an alluminum 5.3 for 300 delivered only issue was oil pan gasket. Thing runs boss now in a 240 drift car.

He lives in the IE there are about 7 engines at his house intake to oil pan just chillin lol. I think he had 3 6.0 and 4 5.3. A lot of times he does full rebuilds and makes the 6.0 a 408 and the 5.3 a cast iron forged 5.7. So he knows they are good. Sells the rods and pistons on eBay and basically what ever he doesn't reuse that is still good

Wait a minute... I think I know who you're talking about lol. He was out of town last weekend. I was looking at what he thought was an L33, but cam sensor was on the timing cover. Last four are 0386 right?

Nope 6986. He's a hidden gem haha. Amazing engine builder owns a ton of fast cars and has churned out tons and tons.
