For those that wanted to know, the doors weigh 33.5lbs a piece. That weight includes mirrors, all the guys from a stock door, and all the trim around the door will edges etc
Paint is done on the front half, cage, interior, firewall and front strut towers. Wiring the efi, putting in motor and tranny is next along with installing turbo system. It is starting to look more like a car and less like a project. Almost forgot the Racecraft front k member and suspension along with the 17in v-series

Reason: Forgot some info
Got the front back on and dash in. The black and silver look good together. I dyed the dash the factory black and it looks spot on. Even cut it so you could read the VIN.
Next up was gift wrapping it with tape so the paint doesnt get too messed up when the rngine and tranny is installed and all the wiring plumbing of the lines etc
For sure. Wasn't going to do the front but I is so much easier to cool it down and work on it at the track. I went with H.O. doors because it is still a street car. I am putting sound deadener in it and good carpet so I had to loose weight somewhere. I almost didn't go with the fiberglass dash but there will be so much electronics in the car i went fiber glass too. The fast dash looked better sitting there with the fiberglass. The steering look3d like **** with the stock dash too.
Got ls2 with ARP everything. K1 rotating assembly with heavy duty wrist pins, wiseco 10.1 pistons, pinned mains, 1/2 filled. Figured I would start out aluminum since I as going with a aluminum Dart block after a season on the chassis.
