^ yup that skirt will get destroyed. 1/2" is a lot shorter. Maybe throw a 4.8 crank in it lol

It's a stock stroke build I don't see the piston getting anywhere near low enough to cause issue. I spoke with Erik and Brian with LME about it when shopping a re-sleeve quote and they both said run it as it.

Yeah the skirt gets no where near the bottom of the bore! Heres a stock stroke in a 6.0 block.

The piston at BDC will be the same in a 4.8 or 5.3. Shorter stroke and longer rod vs longer stroke and shorter rod.

You would be correct. TDC - stroke. It uses a longer rod to achieve TDC.

Sorry,
with stroke of 3.62 and 6.098 rod at 180* of crank angle is 3.62"
with stroke of 3.27 and 6.275 rod at 180* of crank angle is 3.27"

So the 4.8 would be 0.350 higher up.

Right, and with a custom piston with less skirt, maybe he gets it to clear....either way, I wouldn't run the block. Sleeved stock blocks always break and break fast.....

Depending on your goals even free is a bad price. I was originally going to do a 5.3 build major budget friendly. Got a cheap 6.0 after machining costs and a forged rotating assembly with some ls3 heads it came in way over budget. I have a much more stout engine that will make much more power than I originally wanted which is cool, but it def delayed my build by a few months.

Thats where Im at. I dont see how that would NOT be an issue for a skirt.

And, you can get full, known running motors for dirt. Does it have to be a 370? With a 1000whp goal, you can do this with a stock crank China rods and slugs reliably

I had the block baked and shot blasted several years ago and have just been using it for mock up purposes to make custom ****. If you are hard up for a block and having a hard time finding one, I'll sell it to you. Let me know.

Like I said, the block is 100% gutted. No plugs/cam bearings since I had it cleaned up.
