Default L92 heads on LQ9 block

I've been educating myself in the new to me world of LS turbo setups in regards to overlap and LSA and how different the cams are from NA, but I am having a hard time finding a LQ9 style cam that works well with the L92 rectangle heads and a turbo...

My current NA setup is a LQ9 block with LY6 rods and pistons. L92 heads and manifold. I am currently running the TSP231/236 but I know for a fact that would be the worst possible turbo cam with it's 111LSA and 11.5(?) overlap.

I recently bought a Turbonetics T76 .94ar and am in the process of getting 80# injectors and another 255 pump.

I've seen really good looking cams on BTR and LJMS but they all state "for cathedral heads"... and the LS7 or 9 would be great but they have the cam sensor on the wrong end.

I am not trying to spend $400 on a custom grind either. I know someone has done this before 1000 times.

Thank you in advance for your advice.

Where do you find any new cam isn't 400 dollars. Most companies don't charge extra for a custom cam. All you need is a ls3 boost cam.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but like I said in my post, isn't the LS3 cam sensor in the front of the engine?
I'm not sure what your first sentence means. I can get a LS6 which many people run for about $129. Or if you meant the other way, a typical Comp cam is $429.

Your cam would work fine with the right pair of twins. With that little T76, probably not so well.

Don't dwell too much over the different cam profiles for cathedral and rectangle port heads in boost.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I read the Cathedral and rectangle turbo cams are completely different grinds.

Link doesn't work.

Gen 4 stuff just uses a different cam gear for the front sensor. All you need is the gear, front cover, sensor and an extension harness.

LJMS has a cam for a 6.0 w/ LS3 heads. This is what he quoted me when I asked about one for mine: (230/239 115+4).

Is this what he has on his website? Or is it a "custom" cam that he uses kind of often for builds that all fit into a cookie cutter design. You can always call up tick performance and buy a turbo ls3 cam which will be a turbo cam designed for ls3 heads. The only difference is a slight amount of displacement which is 12 cubic inches. Should be quite close still. This is the route I went since I built a 370 with LS3 heads and a LS3 has a stock displacement of 376

I emailed him my combo and that's what he gave me in response. He said he'd used it before on 6.0's w/ L92/LS3 heads with good success.

i have the stage II LS3 boost cam from Tick. When martin still worked there he specd me a custom one but said it was nearly identical to the shelf cam and recommended i just get that. Car put down 635hp on 13lbs same block and heads as you.
