yes it has been that tune boost for about 100 runs now. it is about out of injector at this point so it might get some id 1300's and turn it up and shoot for an 8.

it has a cheap on3 intercooler but at this level it is getting 170* air on the big end so it will be getting a better one soon. with a better intercooler and injectors I think a 8.90 is possible. but it is getting to the limit with the small cam

Impressive, was the bottom end rebuilt or never touched-I don't have much luck finding decent engines, I usually have to go thru them.

it was taken apart and cleaned and the rings were opened up to .024 but was built with everything that came out of it rings and bearings were reused. all stock bolts except head bolts and ls9 gaskets. brian tooley pushrods, springs and trunion upgrade and triple 12 cam. still running truck intake and t.b. and truck assy brackets.

Its really a great-running, inexpensive combo. Goes to show how well a car can run when setup right and dialed in.

So that turbo has the small turbine correct? And just so I u/s, you have (2) 2.5 hot pipes merging into (1) 2.5" pipe into the turbo? What size down pipe, and exhaust setup (if any)? Thanks Mike.

it is the 88/83 but the 83 is the exducer so it is pretty big. yes it has a truck manifold to 2.5 pipe to a 2.5 merge on it with a single 4" open downpipe about 4 feet long.

I did and the car is more consistant but just will not hold more than a 2 or 3 psi launch. I think im going to try a 28 by 10 slick and see where it gets me. my 27 by 11.5 hoosier quick time pros have gotten me a 9.85 but I still think a slick is best. and my 60 'are still low 1.6s

im really thinking about going ladder bar coilover with a 28 by 10 slick and getting rid of all the leaf spring stuff altogether.

What shocks on the rear? The slicks should get it for you. We’ve gone low 1.3 sixty foot with a buddy’s car on a 28x10 and slappers on a leaf spring ‘68 Nova.

single adjustable old style qa1's mounted behind the axle moved in. . im going to try a regular old slick first and see how it runs first.

Thats what I’d do. I just moved my shocks to the front of the rear end and am working on installing the sliders. Also put Camaro pockets for the front mount. Lowered the car about 1/2-5/8” while moving the front spring eye up roughly an inch.
