Unless you are running methanol at huge power levels, cost VS performance doesn't add up. Any of the big boy $500ish electric pumps on a boost switch with an AEM380 to cruise around will make 1500-1600 on E85 for under under $650...

You clearly haven’t pushed a big boy electric pump on E85 for any period of time. 2 4303s were about out of steam around 1300whp on E85....electric pumps suck when pressures rise high. And they are loud as hell. And....if one in a ,multiple config situation starts to die when pushing motor hard, good chance something bad will happen.... belt drive is truly a do it once never think about it again.

When I said piece together you're able to mount a pulley off the front of a lot of aftermarket balancers which most people already have if they're making 1000+ hp.

MagnaFuel MP-4204 which does 8gpm is $550ish from Jegs/summit/etc this will cover all E85 applications if you're running on methanol you might go 12gpm for 2000hp
Cable is $300-400 depending on length
Mounts/Pulleys $300-500

If you use something like the ATI hub it does increase the price but its really about spacing and what works on your setup.

Anyone have any pics of a mech pump opened up? They are a gyrotor type yes? What size is the rotor? The more info the better so if anyone knows vane count, impeller width etc. All of that will help us dig up something suitable. Over the winter I might see what I can do here

Bump. Did anyone ever put together a parts list for a cable driven setup to support big power using E85? Lines, regulators, pumps, brackets, fittings, etc?
