Default Head choice for boosted LSX

Have a 427 ,LSX block ,forged and studded bottom end,LS7 heads with studs,650 - 240 cam, Vortech YSI running 14 # on meth. 1200 hp intercooler. LS7 intake and ported throttle body with 85 # injectors and aeromotive 2000 pump.Has 9.4 compression. Attached to a 6 speed tranzilla. Dynoed at 740 rwhp.Want to turn it up but know the LS7 heads are the weak spot.Would love to hit at least 1000 rwhp. We run 94 fuel up here in Canada so I should be able to avoid detonation. What is the best head for this swap and is this all I need beside the pulley swap?

What’s your pulley setup now? What compression is your motor? 740 seems low. Is it an automatic?

We made 1170 before the rps twin started slipping, with 4 bolt heads never pushed any water on a LS7 then went to a 4L80 e made 875 rear wheel hp and went 8.81 and that was
8 years ago same kit Andy’s ysi Ron Shearer 1500 hp his big *** intercooler it was two 3 in
Garret cores welded together, I think no I know the ysi will run out of smoke before the stock heads are a problem

You can make 1000 on the stock heads. As mention you are gong to probably need bigger injectors. Where in Canada are you ?

I'm super happy With my Frankenstein heads, not to mention a good price. Gonna need more injector for sure, Bosch 210s are hard to beat for the money.

TFS LS7 heads, or factory LS7s ported work great. My junk made 618rwhp NA with ported factory LS7 heads and a plastic intake.

There are guys running over 30psi with 317's not pushing water. There is a SBE low 8 second S10 on here that runs 31psi with no issues. It's all in the tune.
