boost build with alot of dumb questions about E85 ok so im planning a turbo ls build on E85. thing is i really dont know a single thing about it. what is a good setup for a 5.3 that has 799 heads, flat tops and 76mm turbo?

I would recommend visiting the sloppy mechanics wiki. Then read the stickies at the top of the page. It will give you a ton of info. Read it all. Then come back and ask questions if you have any. Whats a good set up for a 5.3 with e85 and a 76mm is a very general question. Kinda like whats the best cam competition cams sells. There have been a million different ways to do what you ask. Even then i think there are seven different 5.3 and probably 40 different 76mm turbos. What ones are you asking about. What hp goal. What vehicle. What trans. What usage, all race, daily driver, cruiser, street brawler. All that will effect the combo that will be best.

I guess my goal is 650 to the tires. Liquid to water intercooler. It's a automatic transmission car. I plan on using it for daily driver/Auto x and some drag but mainly Auto x. I really don't know what turbo I wanna run as I've looked at several 76mm units.

Oh no your fine! All this is really new to me. I have a good general idea how I want the car to be just trying to get it there is the issue.

ok so i read some of sloppy mechanics on fuel pumps. my questions are is there a way that the pumps can be used in the tank? will 2 walbro 225's be enough? i know i need 160lbs injectors. or should i use 2 in tank pumps to feed a bigger in line pump? im sorry for all the questions all this is new to me, ive never built a turbo LS car.

cwarta is the author and he is making boost footbraking with a stock converter with dual 3582 vsracing turbos. Bet there gonna spool stupid fast barring that if your stuck on a single turbo go vsracing billet 7875 8nstead of the normal starter 7668 everyone goes to and then moves to the bigger turbo in no time it will still spool really quick with a decent cam and converter.
