Single- Keeping AC and Rad Support
Looking at building my second Turbo F-Body. My first one I lost the AC and relocated the Rad/Fans forward for a center mount T76
This time around I want to keep my AC and I do not want to cut the radiator support. Any input?
I am looking at trying to find a single that I can fit in the right location to do this... possibly the battery tray, but I want it to support 800-1000HP on a budget which leaves me the dilemma. Pretty sure I'm not going to fit an S400 in the tray....
I assume I can meet my HP and fitment goals easier with smaller twins, but Id love to run a single again for a few reasons.
I fully realize the fab work and thought that it takes but I appreciate any input on turbo and locations anyone has had success with.
Thanks!

I really like his approach, but as you can see, you have to get pretty darn creative.
I have an ATI D1 Procharger and due to overheating and trying just about everything possible, I chose to move the AC condenser forward into the bumper cover.
Everything is a tight fit but I was able stick a 4 inch FMIC and a one inch ac condenser and two Spal fans as well as my Alky pump inside the cover.
So far the ac works well in the very high 100 + days we have here in KS. The ac was always deficient even stock but IMO that's because of all of the glass in the cabin. I have been getting 40-45 degrees at the ac outlets so am getting plenty of cold air. But the huge front glass, t-tops and large back window certainly don't help to keep out the sun especially here in KC.
Sunshades for the t-tops will help. I never got the pair even though was less than one year old when I got it (98 Camaro Z28). So looking for a pair of sunshades. Am also going to try some new stuff on the inside of glass which is supposed to help. All that said, the ac works just a well if not better than the original ac condenser location. Keeping the heat out of the car in the summer is another issue.
Will post again this summer when it get's real hot again. But for now I think I have solved the overheating issue once and for all. Rarely gets over 185 now which makes sense since the ac condenser is no longer a restriction. For now am just using the ATI 16 inch puller on the backside. I do have a Spal Extreme which pulls more cfm, but decided to use the ATI since it doesn't draw as many amps.
I am using two Spal 14 inch pushers on the AC condenser. The condenser is larger than the stock Camaro ac condenser.
I need a 145 amp alternator (three fans + alky pump + fuel pump). Problem is that it won't fit with a Procharger in the way - no clearance for the pulley. One will fit topside on passenger side.

Go with AN fittings and reduced barrier Goodyear hose. Not expensive at all. Cold Hose is a good source and they will make the lines and weld on the fittings.
This spring plans are to loose the steel fmic bracket and replace with two aluminum brackets (one on each side) to support the FMIC and AC condenser. Will give me more room and less weight plus a much cleaner look.
ATI uses brackets on the side with their F-body front mounted FMIC. But theirs are sheet metal.
