Havent seen him post on either forums for a while. I think I saw him post about selling up and fitting a different engine or something ?

Although he had a huge amount invested into the LS...

Maybe I'm wrong though

I know he had some issues with keeping the heads down so maybe he did decide to move up to something a little more reliable at higher power levels.

He was moving to a full dry deck setup with water in the heads only

I'm here guys. Life just has a way of getting in your way sometime. Truck is not back together yet, but should be in the near future. I'm still gonna run the factory 6.0 block, but like others said, it is now filled to the top and the decks of the heads have been welded shut. So I'm still gonna do the 4-bolt head **** until it forces me to step up from factory parts.

Dry decked just means that there is no water flowing from the block to the heads via the deck. Still use a gasket. No the heads aren't welded to the block. This is done not to be able to run more boost, but to keep the heads down at higher cylinder pressures (which sometime is a result of more boost).....if that makes sense.
