Just to make everyone laugh i keep this in my tool box. It is the piston i found on the road when my engine blew up at 10,000 miles. If anyone can tell me the root cause of the failure you get a gold star cause i cant tell. I just know it fubar.
Final turbo position. They are set back enough to run a k&n 1850 filter that i s 6" tall by 7" across. Shouldnt be to much of a restriction plus i can remove em when its time to show my ***. Hate covering the turbos but hey its mostly a street car and it dust storms here all the time.
Sadly it sits at the house looking just like the picture with alot more dust. Life, work and crap has got in the way for now but im hoping to be back at it soon here. Im tired of not having my stress reliever. If you understand what i mean.
Good luck on running deep into the 9s on a 20 in a 5th gen. My first track outing with my Huron TT 5 gen got me 10.31 @ 138.96 on 20s driving it to the track in July. I think I can at least get a 10.2 out of it on the 20s before the season is over. I am still SBE L99 (I have a great tuner)
I haven't left it just taken a slight break. Im working 400 miles from home these days. Living in a travel trailer. Lol. Its there in the carport hanging out waiting. Good thing is I've been saving money and its coming back out real soon. I think I may have decided to change a few things but hey thats cause i can't ever leave **** alone even a plan. Lol
