I don't think you will see 750+ on that turbo.

At 17 years old, you will absolutely **** your pants at 750 HP. Don't throw numbers around lightly.

Don't complicate it, or you'll never finish the build.

Junkyard stock 5.3, with a turbo cheaper than the CXRacing. Don't touch anything on the long block.

What's a "brand new" 5.3? What year? mileage?

Add another of those cx 76mm turbos, 210lb bosch injectors. You don't need ported heads or 243/799 castings. 2 450 intank walbros or 2 inline AEM380's. Treadstone intercooler, and MS3 plug an play ECU.

Then a drive line that can handle that kind of power. It won't be cheap... not very budget friendly for most 17 year olds.

I’m 50 & I still wear my Shittin’ pants when I drive this toy !

OP: IMHO:
a little fatherly advise, turn it down & grow into it. 750 hp ( & TQ to match) doesn’t behave like you think it might. There is a learning curve to go through.

If you have that much experience, you would be asking them instead of here putting together that really bad parts list you did in the other section.

Lights of teenagers come here. Not a single thing has ever been done by any of them that had 'big plans'.

Just put a mild cam/springs in and run it. Don’t touch anything else on the engine. I wouldn’t even take the heads off.

Put your money in the ECU, trans, converter/rear end.

If you want a single turbo setup that ones too little. Grab a t4 S475 clone from vsracing. I believe they are on sale now for $479 shipped. Personally I wouldn’t bother with T4 stuff for that kind of goal. I’d jump straight in the S475-S480 1.32 T6.

OP this forum is full of young men that want lots of hp and have been racing since diapers but what u don't see is very many of them going through with there claims and plans of a project. All these guys here offering u advice that is spot on to be honest have done What your trying and have lots of experience that there not selling u there giving to u for free. I'm 29 I know what I could handle at 17 it was a 4banger and a 6 pack but if u want to do this the right way leave the engine alone cheap turbo money spent on drive shaft rear end tranny, and electronics alone are going to be very high but once u have them u can go as far as u want with the motor but don't take there advice wrong it's all from experience. The cheapest part of your entire project is the wisdom u can gain here and it's absolutely worth the most money.

I agree with the previous posts. Honestly it is so easy to build a 750hp sey up these days its crazy. The hard part is making that engine once installed love up to its potential. Start smaller. Learn to tune the boost curve on a turbo set up for traction then move up. Dont be a "show off fail" on youtube. Be a success. Do the chassis first then build the big power.

Just to be fair I should ask is there a budget sat aside or a week to week paycheck thing what's the time frame and all the details that honestly is what determines what u should do if u say u have 10 grand set aside that's a little different than I have a 5.3 my dad's tools and big *** dreams. Nothing wrong with either just need to know for realistic purpose

Between the 2 of u what skills do y all have. Can u fab up the piping. Can u freshen up up the motor without a machine shop. Have u found any good deals on used parts already. Craigslist is going to probably help save some money but I wouldn't do much to the motor if it was me re gap the rings good new oil pump new pick up and o ring clean clean clean since it's free can u get away with stock manifolds flipped over and welded vbands onto them. I would rather have a less hp motor with a suspension that guarantees traction over a high hp motor that's a spin fest that's from experience. I like a 5.3 ls6 cam and springs cheaper 76mm turbo good intercooler not eBay one. Ls6 intake and throttle body stock oil pan diy motor mounts and stock manifolds with vbands good stainless oil and fuel lines I like aeromotive stealth 340lph fuel pumps or walbros. Good fuel pressure regulator and good injectors that give u room to grow save the hastle and get 80lb injectors skip 60s it won't last long before u want to turn it up and they hinder u

If it’s on E85 I'd go straight to 210lb Bosch CNG injectors. 80’s won’t go very far without a ton of pressure. They aren’t much more than the 80’s at $384 shipped. (ebay)

We'll get new piping and the engine itself doesn't need to be cleaned up or restored other than resurfacing the heads but we just sent it off to our local machine shop for a hot wash
