RELIABILITY,Me No Wants a Blow Up
I am going to put together a 5.3 on a heavy dually truck that tows a couple times a week, with a NV4500 and full time E85.500 ft/lbs will get things done.No need to ever rev over 5500,and don't see myself in the boost a lot except when I need it.Truck puts on 30k miles a year.
It shouldn't be long before I get a call to come get a low mileage 5.3 running truck engine locally.I resisted as long as a human could, but they learned me into going turbo.
What would your advice be,equipment-wise as far as keeping things reliable over the long haul?

I guess I'm in the camp that if you're arrogant and your delivery sucks then it doesn't really matter how smart you are.
look over on performancetrucks.net there are a couple gasser guys with turbos they tow with. it's a different beast than a diesel, but they seem plenty happy with it
