I have researched and researched opinons on restrictors and honestly it seems like 50/50 to use or not to use them. I am seeing a little over 80 at WOT and around 45-50 at idle of oil pressure.

When my precision laid down a few years ago, I ordered the on3. When I was talking to the guy on the phone, he told me since I was using a high volume pump....I need the restrictor. He sent me one with the turbo, I installed it just as I was told. No issues to date (this is just my experience). Car isn't a garage queen either.

Appreciate the advice man. I am going to run the car after work with the drain line off and see what kind of flow I am seeing. Depending on how that goes a restrictor may be in the cards. With the Turbowerx pump I called and was told you could have up to a three foot line away from the oil source (i.e turbo) which I am at three foot. The pump is designed to prime from that distance so surely that would not be my issue. . . I will see once I run the car with the line off the pan I suppose.

Strangely, a guy over on the vette forum had a lot of issue with his setup smoking...and it turned out he had restricted the oil feed so much, that the scavenge pump was unable to work correctly. Seems a little odd...

When he supplied the turbos correctly, all was good with no other changes.

JB turbos like oil...there is no sensible reason to starve them.

Running a restrictor would be a last resort if I can not find anything else that could be causing my issue. I get JB turbos like oil I also get that most JB turbos that are set up like mine (feed, drain, scavenge pump, ext) are not spitting out oil. . .

I am not sure yet but I redid my oil lines from the turbo to the pump and the pump to the pan. I had 90* fittings on the pump both inlet and outlet that were angled straight up. . . I know I know I should have known that could cause issues. So I laid those down flat, shortened the lines so they are all downhill and let the car idle on jack stands. I laid under the car and did not see any oil coming from anywhere (knock on wood). So today I plan to drive the car some and fingers crossed it really was something so stupid.
