Front input shaft is lt1, back one is for ls1

Before the butchery

More cutting needed

Sawzza and grinder with cutoff wheel are the only tools at my disposal. Gonna try and get a dremal to clean this all up with. A lot of work to pit in an On3 radiator.

Starting the switch from auto the manual pedals. The one thing I am unsure of is the bracket seems to move around about to get an accurate locarion to drill for the clutch master

Some evay headers I tried to use, but they def dont work on the 4th gens. Clearance issues with waterpump coolant bypass, and on driverside with ps pump and the steering shaft

Seen someone cutting up a bumper to use as a bracket for the intercooler. We will see how it turns out. Just got the foam part off. They are just held with some push pins, prolly the biggest I ever say anyhow.

Haven't done the bumper cover yet, but just mounting the inter cooler after cutting up the bumper was a big win for me today.

Over all came out ok. This is an On3 stand up rad. Info isnt to really out there for doing this, and they include no instructions on doing these.

Some brakets I found at Walmart to help add support because I cut a lil to much out.

Had a tarp, and it still leaked through, and put a gallon of water in the engine. Good thing it was getting pulled to put in a bmr kmember.



New k member installed

Finally in.

Engine and trans going in from the top.

It’s funny cuz I named my red turbo 2000 ws6 the Dirty Bird. She was a relatively nice car when I got her in 2012. But the years of dragging it around to completion this year really took a toll on her! Hence the name lol.

Sneaky way to mount since they look small enough


i like this angle as I can maybe utilize my cheapie ws6 hood, and also keep my abs module and battery in place. These turbos are almost the perfect size.

Ditch the abs! It’s heavy and just kind of annoying. It’s pretty cheap and easy to replace. SJM manufacturing makes a lil kit to do it too. Add a line lock while your there if you want.
