V band gasket
I always warp my V Bands when welding. Light Belt sanding works okay afterwards. I've always wondered about V Bands and gaskets. Never heard of anyone doing them before and thought about doing the exact thing you guys are doing! It's great to hear it's working.
I ended up grinding down and welding my V Bands together on the up pipes to eliminate leaks. But this is great to know for the turbine housings. I now use 3 bolt flanges for my exhaust as they come with nice gaskets and are just better!
