Boost and dual tanks
mounted one, but with lowering it, the space I have could interfere with the rear end.
I thought if I could replace the 3/8" line with 1/2", install a return in each tank, might work. I
found a 6 way brass valve, pretty large, might work-each tank would need ind. return/feed.
Another thought was use a smaller tank in the rear, use it as a main tank, use the 2 other tanks
to feed it by a man. operated pump-I could swap tanks with the fac. valve.
Just trying to use the ex. system, I think it would be to rest., esp the switcher valve-they made
a 6 way valve for the later FI trucks. Anyone try something like this, 2 tanks
U could swap to the 87 c10 model intank pump if u choose. I think your best option is a surge tank that is fed by a pump after the valve from both tanks. Basicly like I stated above ^^.
I was thinking of this on my swap, using the two tbi pumps already in each tank, through the stock selector valve, then fed into a single in line Walbro 255, then to a Wix 33737 filter/regulator, etc

sumps for in tank pumps, use 2 87 senders, add a 450 pump to each, then use the large brass
man. valve, then a #10 feed, 8 return to /from the valve. I used a 3 way switch to switch pumps,
senders for the gas gauge. I dont have the injs. to run E85 yet, but thinking was I could run E85
in one tank, or at least a lower mix. For now its a great back up if one pump fails, lol.
