Piston/rod options
1. Run the 4th gen pistons and rods (near new, arp bolts)
2. Keep the 4th gen rods and upgrade to forged pistons
3. Sell the 4th gen stuff and go with forged pistons and rods and have something that's probably way over built.
Thanks!

I've made 600+ on every single turbo LS setup I've ever built or tuned. All of them on stock pistons and rods.
Upgrading pistons alone is pointless. With proper ring gap and tune, you'll bend the rods before breaking a piston.
The only real reason to do forged pistons on stock rods would be that you had to make a serious change to compression ratio, or had to bore the block.
