Single S366 on a 4.8?
Ran an edelbrock 2215 "low lift" cam in another 4.8 and it woke it up even more down low. .510 lift 220/220 @ 111. Low lift, moderate duration and tight LSA made a big difference. Hard to describe, but the car felt "snappy" after the install. More so than the Trip 12. Made the 4.8 feel like a bigger motor on the initial throttle tip in. None of my other cams have done that. Id really like to run something similar on a 110 or even a 109 LSA. Bet you could get quite a bit of added grunt down low if that was the goal. As a side bonus it had a pretty mean lope at idle as well.
What intake are you running? Strangely enough changing from the ls1 to ls6 (or TBSS) intake made a big difference for me in terms of spool. May be something to look into if you aren't already on one of the decent truck intakes. The crappo china intercoolers also have a pressure drop across the core which can hurt your foot braking. Both made a difference on my 4.8 stuff.

The setup is in a car I've had for years, done Drag Week, etc. I used a bunch of old parts I had including the Fast 102 intake. It's not light, with the 9" and all at 3550 raceweight.
Hotside is truck manifolds modified to fit, 2" pipes merged into a 3" to the T4 flange. VSracing wastegate, 3.5" downpipe to the middle of the trans pan. I haven't build the rest of the exhaust yet.
I data log every run with the Holley EFI, but never been on a dyno. Car runs crisp and the turbo lights off instantly now with the stock 02 LS1 cam. I tried everything with the Summit Stg 2, threw all sorts of timing at it, fuel, 2 step, you name it....didn't have much luck. I'd like to run something like the Triple 12 next year, but honestly I'd rather get all I can out of this setup just as my own personal challenge. The 10.79 was on 15psi. I'm out of fuel pump on E85 as the pressure was starting to drop. I'm switching to race gas anyway, just for convenience doing Drag'n'drive events next year.
I've added the intercooler since this last pic. Knocked intake air temps from 210+ to 130 at 12psi! Crazy happy about those results.
10.43@130.07
Leaving on 11psi.
I think I'm done messing around with this tiny turbo, although it is a lot of fun on the street. Time to use the PTE7675 I've got and enjoy the benefits of billet!
