By all accounts, it works well NA and boosted, so that's my logic.

you think it will be a big improvement over the ASA.

Depends on what you mean by "improvement." I expect better idle and probably more power.

I have been around the block a few times now with my stage 2, orig i didnt have the
correct injector info, idle was bad, but with new info inputted, it really is idling good,
has some lope. With the 6.0 and the 83/75 turbo, seems to light off pretty good. Untill
i get the other trans in, dont want to beat on it to hard, (old switch pitch turbo 400
with a 13" converter) but pretty happy with the cam, prob dyno it in Aug.
Some reason I cant post vids.

Installed the Summit Stage 1 turbo, AKA Ghost cam. Drove from Alabama to Chicago, did the swap in my buddies garage. Started at 7:00am made first tuning drive at 3:30pm...LOL

Anyway, aside from the theatrics, this cam is way better than the ASA cam. Engine idles down to 750rpm no problem and still has a bit of lope. Nearly no raw fuel smell, ASA cam had 10 degrees of overlap, this cam has -3 degrees of overlap. Idles at 42 kPa, while the ASA cam idled at 58 kPa. After a few days of tuning, at WOT the midrange added 30% more fuel and at 6500 added about 20% fuel. It also pulls much harder in the higher RPMs, while the ASA cam was basically done by 6000rpm, and fuel usage confirms this. So not only is in making more torque, it is making more HP, probably 30HP more. On my drive back, checked fuel consumption and got a boost of 2-3mpg on the highway, logging over 500 miles and two tanks of gas.

So yeah....big improvement.

How do you think it would work with a turbo?

It used to be called the Stage 1 turbo cam, so probably pretty good.

The Summit cam has just a hair less duration and way more lift. The main difference is that the ASA cam has a 110 love separation angle, while the Summit cam has 115 degrees.

GatTagO is correct. The Ghost cam p/n SUM-8715 is the Pro LS Stage 1 turbo cam. It works excellent as a sleeper cam as well, so we've put in in the N/A section as Stage 1 as well. Specs of the Ghost are 222/233 115 + 3 .600/.575. The valve events are -1 I/O, 43 I/Cm 55 E/O, -2 E/C for net -3 overlap. The Stage 2 N/A cam is part number SUM-8707. Specs are 226/238 113 + 33 .600/.600. The valve events are -3 I/O, 43 I/C, 55 E/O, 3 E/C for a net of 6 degrees overlap. As you can see the Intake closing and exhaust opening points are the same. The overlap increases which should carry a little more power up top at WOT at the expense of a bit of idle stability. Both are easy to tune. Mavn tried both and picked up a bit of power and dropped a bit of time, but a converter change occurred as well...meaning Stage 1 may have dropped into the 10's as well at some point.

I have one in my car with a single turbo. Works very good. Pulls past 7000rpm. Idles at 630rpm. Wife drove it to Mississippi and back and said the car drives perfect. You’d never think it had about 650-700hp.
