How do you compare cubic inch wise to other cars in that class?

Most of the cars run Hemi, 481X, and some BBC engines with 480-600 cubes. The nitrous cars are 900-1050ci engines.

Wow. That's AWESOME! Any more info on the engine? I'm guessing it doesn't have water jackets and is running on meth?

Awesome run, great to see LS doing that. I'd expect a billet block and some pretty special heads and turbos to be going that quick. Whatever you are running - it's working lolz

For the last two years we have been running the exact same combo in the Impala and the Camaro.
427ci LSX
No water M1 fuel
Noonan billet block
Baker Engineering billet heads
Bryant crank
GRP aluminum rods
Ross pistons
Victory ti valves
PAC springs
Baker/Tooley camshaft
Jesel steel rockers
Isky redzone keyway lifters
Thompsen billet intake manifold and valve covers.

It will go 60s when we lean on it out the back door a bit more. Also the 60-330 split was soft on that pass. It should go 204-206 when we turn it up to the power level we run in the Impala. This was the first 1/8th mile pass where Dave was able to stay at 100% throttle for the whole hit. All of our 3.86-3.90 passes where on pedal passes. We don't have the time and budget to go out testing so our testing is always done on the race weekend. The car has ran the 1/4 see sig.

I have to ask. Is there any ford mod motors that are faster than you. Please tell me that your opening statement is correct.

That video was from Georgia.

It's crazy how fast that class has gotten on drag radials and even X275 in the 4.2x's with a 275/60/15 tire. At the track local to me the only thing running 3.9x or faster is on big tires and using Nitro. Amazing accomplishment to have an LS based motor competing at that level. Keep it up and hope to see you in the 60's soon.
