For gen 4 guts inside a gen 3 what did u have to do?

Buy an 05-06 5.3, they come that way. Otherwise just swap the rods and pistons over.

yeah i knew that. meh might just have to do that.

because i always read a debate of oh the balance, oh u need the crank too, oh u need and u need lol.

I did go the route of balancing the gen 4 stuff to the gen 3 crank and they added weight to the crank to get it balanced. I can’t say for sure but I believe it has helped with this combo living so long.

Certainly doesn't hurt at all, but you also aren't really stressing the components at 800 either. Either way good job, did it run 9.3 at this 800hp or was that previous to dyno?

Ran 9.3 at 700-725whp level. With a 1.51 60ft off the footbrake. Could only build 7 psi on line due to drum brakes in rear that I now have replaced with discs.also had slapper bars and now have caltracs. If I can manage a High 1.3 60 ft I believe I’ll be real close to 8’s. Went 6.0 @ 119 to 1/8th.
