Max safe bore.....LSX iron block....22psi+ boost
Thinking of swapping my Callie’s rotating assembly into an LSX iron block for the 6 bolt capability.
But was also wondering how much bore I can go to also get more cubes while I’m at it......without changing my 3.825” Callie’s crank.

I'm not experienced enough with the LSX blocks to recommend a max bore, but am curious why you're worried about really big cubes with boost? In my opinion, there's some advantages beyond just cylinder wall thickness to keeping the bore on the smaller side with big boost.

So a smaller 427ci would be well within the safe range. But I need to know how large of a bore that block can go and still be WAY strong with no worries.

Thats what I thought till I met the right guy at the right shop......local to me. He just finished his Procharged T/A.......he's the guy for the job. Most other shops are just full of ****, high and mighty, think they are gods gift.......bunch of cheesedicks. Like guys that work at gun stores...LOL Finally met a normal, down to earth guy that listens to what I want. And is a guru on Fbodys. Not easy to find.
