Default Boost district LSA Fbody kit?

Anyone have any experience with the kit/company? I don't think anyone else makes an LSA 4th gen kit so shouldn't be a non-sponsor issue. Looking for feedback. I'm guessing you could piece together a kit for cheaper, but I haven't heard much from others about the belt drive adapter. The boost district kit comes with an adapter to use your factory serpentine belt. Obviously also comes with the rectangle to cathedral adapters.

I'm not crazy about "Cutting of the wiper cowl is required. Depending on current engine height, possible relocation of passenger wiper arm might be necessary. Cutting of the hood or acquiring a cowl hood is also required." Which would be true of a DiY kit too. So I guess you're mostly paying for the belt drive adapter and rectangle to cathedral adapters

I don't mind trimming the cowl, but would lower the K member to avoid losing the wipers. The ZR1 lid is also shorter in the back which should limit trimming.

Hahaha, I think i've got the remaining bits and pieces all on order. The one question is the turbo. The kit came with a GT67 that was an upgrade "back in the day" and made for rear mount setups, but I've been considering the Comp oil less. Problem is the cost of 1 of those is as much or more than I have in the entire kit lol. I really just want to add about 100-150whp, so nothing crazy. Would only put me in the mid to high 5xx whp range. But I think the higher compression LS6 with my cam will light off quick. Was actually trying to dig up info on that 3rd gen that went 7's to see if he had anything special or just wrapped everything.

Some turbo > no turbo. I'll be anticipating your build thread. Rear mounts can work well when set up correct it seems. I'm not a big fan of significantly removing material to get something to fit so good call.

LOL true. I've done front mounts on 4th gens before. I missed out on a maggie kit by 2 days, and then this appeared. I can't ever leave well enough alone so here we are. I'll get a thread going once the parts arrive.

The headers aren't wrapped, but everything else is. Its also sporting 4k+ worth of turbo (88/91 precision). Man, you gotta at least do a 7675.

The wrap was a big piece of my puzzle. I ordered 100ft of hi temp wrap and was hoping to do the y and catback only and not the headers. I'd swap to stock manifolds and Y but can't find a stock Y local. As far as turbo, I agree that on a traditional front mount yes id want to go bigger, but being a stick and goals <600whp I'm tempted to try the turbo that comes with it. I tend to size turbo's smaller than most. My 383 had a T76GTS which was "under sized" even though Jose at forcedinductions.com agreed. I like my stuff to light off quick even if it means sacrificing top end. If I shift at 6500 even if I lose some power due to back pressure it should still be reasonably happy. We shall see.

Dig. I will be astonished if you get anywhere near 6500 with that 67. Im thinking the car will feel like the brakes are on around 5500.....if that high. But glad to see you are back in turbo land.

LOL true. I have been busy play with my twin turbo daily, part of the reason I've held off the urge to go boost on the F Body.....but it just happens haha. The struggle is real!
